Epcot’s Festival of the Arts Kicks Off With New Food, Art, and Broadway Magic

The seventh annual Festival of the Arts at Disney’s Epcot in Central Florida officially began on Jan. 17, 2025. The festival, running through Feb. 24, invites guests to “Delight your creative side!” with vibrant artwork, dazzling entertainment, palate-pleasing cuisine, and more.

New Culinary Delights

This year’s festival introduces a variety of new food offerings, including the Soft Shell Crab Slider at Opening Bites. Popular Disney YouTuber PagingMrMorrow, who has more than 290,000 subscribers, reviewed the dish as part of the Wonderful Walk of Colorful Cuisine.

“This is totally out of my comfort zone,” he admitted in his video. “But when in Epcot, might as well try something!” After hesitantly taking a bite, he added, “I like it a lot, and I wasn’t expecting to like it—that’s the crazy part. I’m so happy I tried it!”

Spotlight on Disney Artists

Highlighting Disney artists has always been a festival tradition, and 2025 is no exception. One featured artist is Dom Corona, a representative of Disney Fine Art, who posted an Instagram video inviting fans to visit his booth.

“It’s FOTA TIME!!!! 🎨✨ Come and say hello!” Corona said in the post, where he showcased his artwork and encouraged guests to stop by for signed pieces.

Other notable artists, including NoahFineArt and Scooter, also have booths at the festival and offer signing times for fans.

Disney on Broadway: 30th Anniversary Celebration

One of the newest additions to the Festival of the Arts is the 30th Celebration of Disney on Broadway, located in the newly built Communicore Hall in the World Celebration section of the park. This exhibit features costumes, props, and visuals from beloved Disney Broadway productions, such as The Lion King, Beauty and the Beast, Frozen, and Newsies.

In addition to the exhibit, former Disney Broadway performers are taking the stage at the America Gardens Theatre in World Showcase. Opening night featured Patti Murin and John Riddle, who originated the roles of Anna and Hans in Broadway’s Frozen. The Laughing Place posted this video on their popular YouTube channel, where you can see Patti and John performing on opening night.

How to Attend

The Festival of the Arts is included with regular Epcot admission, allowing guests to enjoy the festival’s many offerings at no additional cost. From indulging in creative cuisine to admiring unique artwork and enjoying the magic of Broadway, this event has something for everyone.

The Festival of the Arts runs through Feb. 24, 2025.
